I am Sande Kay, Artist and founder behind SandeKat Studios. For over 40 years I have been turning broken, discarded, or overlooked items into something worth keeping. From jewelry and sea glass to full-on carousel horse restorations, my work is about giving things, and sometimes people, another chance.

SandeKat Studios grew out of that practice: an art and storytelling studio where broken bits get re-imagined and memories get preserved. Every piece is made by hand, with intention, as part of a larger movement to prove that transformation is possible.

Along the way, I have studied at Anna Maria College, Rhode Island College, RISD, and Pacifica Graduate Institute. I have delivered large scaled commissioned pieces, and built a following of people who are here for connection.

The heart of SandeKat Studios is the Community here. Our main focus is not to just recycle, but to re-imagine. It would be lovely if you joined us.
